Do you think that all wealthy people are successful?
Success is more than just making money. Money makes life comfortable,
no doubt. Money also gives you the opportunity to contribute to worthy
causes (it's hard to help the poor if you are one of them)! But that's
not all there is to being successful.
Success is when we reach for
the highest that is within us and give the very best that we have. It
is in the doing and not the getting.
Success is not in the
accumulation of riches and resources and doesn't bring happiness. It is
in the steps you take, and the attempts you make along the way.
Step 1: Accept Life As It Is
Life
is a journey - accept this even with all the challenges that come your
way. Save yourself a lot of energy by embracing this first step.
Step 2: Adapt To Life
Successful
people don't complain and whine, but keep a positive attitude towards
life. Ever notice how draining it is when you are around someone who
constantly complains?
Everyone can have a 'woe is me' story at
some point in their life, but it's the way you adapt to life that will
make a big difference for you.
Step 3: Accept Responsibility For What Is Happening In Your Life
Take full responsibility for your life choices. Always look for the good in your life and in others.
Say YES to life! Don't close yourself off from opportunity. Embrace and explore them!
Step 4: Expect Positive
Do
you know someone who always looks for the negative? If that is what you
look for, that is what you will get. You will find what you are looking
for, so look for the positive.
Focus on positive relationships in
both your personal and professional life. Make it a habit of bringing
out the best in others so they can be the best they can be.
Step 5: Have A Direction And Purpose In Your Life
Successful
people know where they are going. They set goals, accomplish them and
then set more goals. They are never bored, but always looking for new
experiences. See the world as a sea of opportunity!
There is no
line between success in your personal and professional life. Success is
the one standard for your whole life. As you understand the difference
between existing and living you will enjoy life to the fullest.
Always choose living and you will have success.
Attracting Success
"Everyone visualizes, whether he knows it or not. Visualizing is the great secret of success." ~ Genevieve Behrend.
Visualization is one of the many techniques of the law of attraction. Successful people, from celebrities, politicians to athletes know how important it is to picture or visualize themselves being successful or achieving something in their minds, prior to actually realizing it in reality.
Steps to attract success
1. Acknowledge Success
Everyone wants success in his/her life. Most of us struggle to achieve it. As per the technique of Law of Attraction, we need to create a vibration of success, through acknowledgment.
The technique of acknowledgment starts with searching the rewarding parts of your life. We are so engrossed and embedded with our shortcomings and in abilities that we often fail to recognize even an iota of success present in our life and acknowledge the same.
For success vibration creation, we first need to transform our negative attitude into a positive one. The key is to focus our mindset into a success-centric one.
Start exploring your dominant and positive qualities, recall instances or incidents, where you thrived and accomplished a task, moment or accomplishment. The momentum can be anything.
Ask yourself these important questions - Are you a good daughter/son? Are you a reliable friend? Are you a hardworking employee? Do you drive your car safely and smoothly? Do you have any specific skill that you are proud of? These aspects of life are more important that the petty nuances that the society defines as features of being successful. Explore these minute aspects of your life, start creating a vibration of success and acknowledge them all.
2. Develop a firm belief
Belief helps in the manifestation of desires and enables us to work towards our goals. Practice by believing in a small thing or task. For example, get a plant and believe that it will slowly grow into a floral creation. Once you start believing, and your mind will be driven to make sure that you water and nourish that small plant in order to make it grow and bloom. After you achieved this task, take another step of belief and slowly move onto bigger platforms.
3. Explore your desire
We are human beings, filled with desires, dreams and ambitions. Few of us succeed to achieve or make our desires come into a full circle, through the absolute belief in our desires and their possibilities. The key is to explore, discover and find what you desire.
Once you find it, add all emotions into it, visualize your desires and create an emotional vibration around them and witness how your desires take shape into the reality.

When faced with tough situations, the natural tendency for every
human being is to worry. There are some people who through regular
practice have been able to train their minds to stay calm irrespective
of what is happening in their lives. Worrying has a lot of negative
effects on our lives and we must learn to make the most of all our
experiences in life.
This article has been written to help you make a successful transition from worrying to becoming more productive with your time and invariably your life. You will get useful tips that will help you change your perspective about life's occurrences.
I advise you to go through this write-up as often as possible to make the most of the knowledge shared.
Here are a few tips to help you shift your energy from worrying to productive thinking.
1. Put Situations in the Right Perspective
The first and most important step in the process of converting time spent worrying to productive time is to put situations in the right perspective. For every seemingly negative incident that occurs in your life, there are always two perspectives, the positive and the negative. The natural inclination of every human will be to dwell on the negative, it takes self-control to be able to see the good in every bad. You must believe strongly that every situation that occurs is for your good.
2. Think on Paper
I have found this to be a very important way of understanding situations better. Have you ever tried to analyze a challenge with a pen and paper? If you haven't you are missing out on a great opportunity to develop your creative ability. Writing about your problems will help you bring things into the right perspective. When you think on paper, you are able to see things clearer. Instead of worrying next time something happens, take out a clean sheet of paper and do a thorough analysis of the situation. Trust me you will find this exercise very relieving. Write about lessons to be learnt from the situation, how your life will improve as a result, how you will get through and how you will help others in a similar situation.
3. Read and Do Research
There is information on just about any subject available on the internet. How often do you try to read about the challenges you are facing? There is nothing you are going through that is totally strange, the truth is you are not the first neither will you be the last person to experience a particular challenge. You do not have a special problem that no one else has had in the past. Why worry when you can get free information from others who have successfully scaled through such situations in the past? Buy books or get information from the internet that address the challenge. Spend your time looking for solutions rather than wallowing is self-pity and worry.
4. Develop an Exit Strategy
Why worry when you can use the same amount of time to create a way out of your situation? Wisdom should tell you that what has happened is past and you cannot go back to change the past. Instead of wallowing in pain and distress, spend your time thinking of an exit strategy. Ask yourself, what is the next best step to take? What can I do better to prevent a recurrence? How do I acclimatize to the new situation? How do I make the most of this experience? These questions can help you develop an exit strategy when you find yourself in some terrible situations.
I understand that it may not be totally easy for you to face a tragedy and automatically get out, it will take some time. The problem is when you allow your whole life to be crumbled because of a few events that cannot be reversed. Morn if you must, cry if you have to but most importantly, get your life back!

Perhaps because of the hatred, divisiveness, and polarization
occurring during the present election cycle, I've decided that now,
maybe more than ever, it is important to emphasize that a true,
potentially great leader, always focuses on empathy and HEALING, rather
than trying to pit one part of one's constituency against the other.
Historically, when there is significantly more negativism than
positivism, organizations suffer, and rather than improving or enhancing
the group, the end-result is generally hurting the sustainability of
the organization. True leaders realize they must unite the various
factions, and be empathetic, in nature. Those who listen effectively,
address needs, priorities and concerns, and seek solutions (rather than
being hung-up on problems), enhance their potential.
1. Head/heart: Over-relying
on either one's logical or emotional side, generally skews a leader's
perspective. When this head/heart balance is not employed, organizations
will generally suffer, in the long run! True leaders take training
seriously, transform it to relevant, focused learning, prioritize
empathy by beginning with effective listening, and balancing their
emotions, with their logical components.
2. Empathy; enrich; endear: Do
you know the difference between being empathetic, versus merely
sympathetic? Sympathy is feeling sorry for someone, while empathy means
maintaining the ability to conceive and perceive things, from the
perspective of those one serves. If you decide you wish to lead, your
priority must consistently be, to endear yourself, not just by your
words/rhetoric, but rather by the quality and meaningfulness, of your
actions and ideas. When a leader does this, he begins to endear himself
with those he serves, because he leads by example!
3. Attitude; attention: If
you want to heal the wounds of others, you must proceed with a truly
positive attitude! This means looking for solutions to challenges,
rather than fearing what you might perceive as problems. Pay attention
to the needs, priorities and concerns of those you serve!
4. Listen; learn: It
takes more than merely hearing what's being said, but rather one must
listen effectively, with the intent of being a solution-creator! Learn
from every instance, experience and scenario, and you will become a
wiser leader.
5. Ideas; ideology; integrity: Will
you introduce relevant, quality ideas, rather than merely relying on
the same-old, same-old? Is your ideology based on a vibrant, vital
vision, which focuses on the best interests of your group, and
stakeholders? Do you understand you must consistently maintain your
absolute integrity?
6. Needs-oriented: Base your leadership on the needs, concerns and priorities, of those you serve!
7. Generate goodwill: Is
your approach to seek a meeting of the minds, or to divide and be
adversarial? Will you respectfully disagree, or insult those who do not
share your ideas or approaches? Great leaders always attempt to generate
goodwill, based on their attitudes, and performances!
It's up to you-be a divider or a uniter! However, if you seek to be a great, relevant and sustainable leader, you must focus on HEALING!
Mistakes simply show us something that we didn't already know.
Hmm... It sounds like those dreaded mistakes that we're so afraid of...
and those dreaded mistakes that we try so hard to avoid... don't really
have to be looked at as dreaded mistakes and painful experiences after
all.
We can view our mistakes through a different lens and now see a friendly, lovable mentor, or a caring, patient teacher, or maybe even a wise and winning coach that is just trying to point something out to us that we need to know, but don't already know.
So I guess it would be beneficial for all of us to change our paradigm of mistakes from one of a foe to one of a friend. Changing this paradigm though will require one to control their thoughts. Thoughts become things. Negative thoughts put us in closer proximity to negative things.
The good news is that we can avoid this negativity trap by just changing or model or paradigm of what mistakes really mean to us. We must control our thoughts. We must believe that mistakes are an old wise mentor pointing out a few things that we don't know yet. This new way of looking at mistakes pushes us into taking action and helps us stop small mounds of trouble from growing into massive mountains of misery.
We can
avoid the Mt. Everest shadow from over-taking us by just being grateful
for the small mistakes that we make today. Those small mistakes of today
are just pointing out some small things that we don't already know
while simultaneously helping us avoid the big, ugly, and nasty mistakes
lurking in the shadows of tomorrow.
Now moms, go learn, lead, and lay the way to a better world for all of us. Remember, mistakes are our friends because they just simply show us some things that we didn't already know. So let's control our thoughts and remember that mistakes are good because they teach us many valuable lessons. And once again, thanks in advance for all that you do, and all that you will do...

If you have charm everybody listens to you and gives you more
opportunities. This articles shows you how to be more charming and put
it into practice in all your relationships.I will explain further:
Don't say anything that attacks or lowers the self-esteem of others.
Do not criticize, complain or condemn. It's the opposite of charming and makes the conversation negative and unpleasant. Practice your charm and resolve to be cheerful no matter what is going on in your private life.
If you have something negative on your mind keep it to yourself Never talk about your problems in business and social settings.
2. Use your charm and be agreeable.
When someone says something you don't agree with it is charming to be completely neutral and keep it to yourself. Refuse to argue or suggest the other person is wrong.
Even if the other person is wrong, let it pass. The more charming and agreeable you are with other people, the more they like you.
3. Practice acceptance.
This trait satisfies a deep subconscious need of other people. I am talking about the need to be accepted by other people.
You express lack of acceptance of another person by ignoring or criticizing them. It is charming to smile at another person. This is the best way to practice acceptance.
4. Express gratitude on every occasion.
Do this by saying thank you. The more grateful you are towards others, the better they feel about themselves and you.
5. Express admiration whenever possible.
It is charming to admire people for their traits, possessions and accomplishments.
6. Give approval and praise.
Giving praise shows charm and positively influences the behavior of people.
7. Pay attention
Charming people listen closely to other people when they speak. Here's how to listen properly:
A. Listen attentively without interrupting.
B. Pause before replying. Carefully consider what the other person has said.
C. Ask the following questions for clarification. The person who asks questions has control.
- What sort of work do you do?
- How did you get into that field?
- And then what did you do?
- And then what did you say?
Instead of trying to impress, be impressed. Instead of trying to make friend, be a friend. To conclude: Any psychologist will tell you that the self-esteem is the foundation of personality. Therefore, the number one way to become more charming is to work on the person's self-esteem. The way in which other people behave toward us is a key ingredient for a healthy emotional environment. Making the other person feel more important is the key to becoming more charming.
To organize means to put things in an orderly, neat and tidy manner.
Organization can apply to a home or office environment as well as a
personal lifestyle. As a Professional Organizer I organized people's
home or office. Later as a Senior Advisor & Consultant I organized
people's lives. There are similar benefits and consequences of being
organized vs unorganized in both spatial organizing and lifestyle
balance. When a business or home is in an organized state, it runs efficiently and increases productivity, which saves time and money. This is also true when a person's life is in balance and in control. On the contrary, to be in a state of disorder, at home or in life, creates chaos, confusion and unnecessary expenses.
Having an organized atmosphere allows you to accomplish more projects, find items quicker and reduces stress in your life. It is important to diminish clutter, regain control of your environment and keep it that way. It is just as important to regain control of your health, time and life. An individual practicing self-management skills is healthier, happier and more productive.
How does one create an organized atmosphere? Of course
there is a process, but the main focus is choosing what to keep,
giveaway, sell or donate. Many people think of de-clutter as projects
involving the closet, bedroom, pantry/kitchen, living room and garage -
and they are correct. However, there is also a de-clutter process for
getting one's life in order and the answer is similar - make a decision
what to implement, purge, let go and change. There are many reasons people are disorganized or procrastinate getting organized in the home and their lives. One reason is they never learned the skills, tools or received support. Another example is unexpected events occur. Some people may be organized and be on a good schedule, but a major change in events throw them off course such as moving, downsizing, job change, illness or death. For a period of time, many things are just "let go." It does not take long for clutter to accumulate in the home and life to be out of control.
Perhaps you feel there are not enough hours in the day to tackle more projects or overwhelmed at the disarray in the home/office environment as well as your life. If this sounds familiar do not despair, there are professionals to help overcome the obstacles.
How do we take full command of our goals & finish what is most important before someone else dictates where our attention must go? We keep what is important in front of us. Reviewing what is most important in our lives on a regular cycle without referencing notes forces us to solidify our mission in our minds. More than 2 years ago I wrote a single blog entry describing how I think we can best focus our behaviors so that our lifestyle aligns better with our mission. Since then I have been constantly bombarded by an ever-increasing tidal wave of media, alerts, phone calls, advertisements and online updates. The only difference is that I can FOCUS MY ATTENTION much better now, more than 2 years later, because of one simple habit. JOURNALING.
The journaling process is simple. The habit is critical. Journaling 1st thing in the morning and immediately before bed will help you realize when something or someone is holding your attention hostage. The process I use includes daily use of the five minute journal and spending 1 hour every Sunday writing down all the things that I am grateful for. During this time I also seriously evaluate my relationships and review my important projects. I was lucky enough to receive the five minute journal as a gift from a great friend of mine. He cared enough to encourage me to build the habit. Building the habit focused my attention and it will help you. We are all slaves to our habits. Consciously building this one helps make you the master of your path. Once you really build the habit you've effectively reclaimed your attention from all the "Vampires." Now you can put more focus, energy and love into taking action towards what matters most in your life!
Here is a brief summary of the process one more time to close things up so I can catch my flight home.
1) Gratitude: Every morning you wake up and write down 3 major things you are grateful for. It can be your wife, kids or even something as simple as good coffee.
2) Goals: Next, you write 3 things that will make today great. This emotionalizes your desired outcomes and prepares your brain to recognize opportunities that you might miss when you are distracted by "other things."
3) Affirmations: There is also space available for daily affirmations in the journal. An example that I might use is " I am centered, confident and charismatic... "
Again, the journaling process is simple but the HABIT is critical. Make sure what you write really resonates with you as a human. We are human. We are not robots; this is not just simple input and output. Really give emotional meaning to this! We can all better assign profound meaning to our daily actions by using a journal. When we assign meaning to our goals they become intentional. When we act intentionally we don't need reminders and we stay present in the moment & focused. Give this a try and your life will likely improve...
Embrace the positivity!
